Adoptee Voices is pleased to offer two half scholarships to the Adoptee Voices Inaugural Writing Retreat, taking place March 5-7, 2027 at Dumas Bay Centre in Federal Way, Washington.

• Scholarship applications are due July 15, 2026.
• Applicants will be notified by July 20, 2026.
• Scholarship recipients will receive 50% off the early-bird tuition rate, reducing tuition from $950 to $475, regardless of whether early-bird registration remains available at the time awards are announced.
• Scholarship recipients must complete registration within 72 hours of notification and submit a $175 non-refundable deposit to reserve their space. The remaining $300 balance may be paid in full or through a payment plan with 3 monthly payments of $100 each. Payments will be billed on the 1st or 15th of each consecutive month, beginning at least 14 days after registration. Standard retreat cancellation policies will apply.

Please note that we may receive more applications than we are able to fund. If attending the retreat is important to you and you are able to register without scholarship assistance, you may wish to register early rather than wait for the scholarship process to conclude.

Because scholarship decisions will be made before the early-bird deadline, applicants who are not selected may still have an opportunity to register at the early-bird rate if spaces remain available. Early-bird tuition is available through August 15, 2026 or until the first 25 registrations are filled, whichever comes first. As a result, we cannot guarantee that early-bird spaces will still be available at the time scholarship decisions are announced.

Due to the limited number of scholarship spaces, if a scholarship recipient is unable to complete retreat registration and submit the required deposit within 72 hours of notification, the scholarship may be offered to another applicant.
